About Charm City Groomery
The creation of Charm City Groomery was inspired by the need for more compassionate, professional grooming to serve our huge community of pet families in the Baltimore region. Our space is welcoming and comfortable for all who step through our door. Pet families, dogs, soon cats, and our groomers feel right at home. Our groomers work so hard and we want to make sure they feel appreciated and special for the very important work they do while caring for and loving your pet babies.
Grooming For Good
Over the last 10 years we’ve been working with Baltimore City pet families in underserved communities through our non-profit beneficiary, Charm City Companions (CCC). CCC’s mission is to work alongside community residents and other stakeholders to facilitate access to free and low-cost, pet wellness resources. The goal is to support healthier, safer and stronger neighborhoods. We connect 1,000s of pet families with resources such as:
- Free spay/neuter services
- Vaccines
- Grooming
- Emotional support animals
- Housing issues
- Behavior & training support
- General conversation and support
- and much more!
Meet Our Team
Cameron V.
Cameron is a part-time manager and groomer at CCG. She brings to our team over a decade of animal care and handling experience through her work as a veterinary technician with MD SCPA, The Village Vet, and volunteer work as a veterinary technician and groomer with BARCS and Charm City Companions. She also currently holds a position as Surgical Veterinary Technician for Johns Hopkins University.
Timya
Timya’s investment in grooming comes with 5 years of experience and a life-long passion for animals. When she was younger she had dreams of becoming a veterinarian, keeping our furbabies healthy and happy. Timya’s interest in grooming started when she worked at a doggy daycare in Baltimore. Friendly and social, Timya makes friends with everyone, including two groomers whom she would watch from time to time.
Timya has the fine-tuned grooming and finishing skills you are looking for in a local groomer. She shares a really genuine connection with the pets that come through our door.
In her free time, Timya enjoys hanging with friends, working out, and of course cuddling with her adorable Shih Tzu, Raine.
She first started volunteering for Charm City Companions (CCC) before joining Charm City Groomers. Her volunteer work at CCC made her a natural fit for Charm City Groomers.
